Home Meet Information

Once again, SwimStrongsville will be hosting the Odd Age Meet. Once again, we will be dedicating the meet as a "Splash Out Cancer" event, raising money for American Cancer Society. The meet will take place November 6-7, 2010 at the Ehrnfelt Recreation Center. It is our most significant team event of the season. All swimmers are expected to swim both days and every family is expected to volunteer time to make this meet a success. Last year, through a variety of efforts coordinated by Dr. Cindy Zelis, we raised $6,000. Please set aside this weekend. It will be fun and memorable.

Club Development Award

Lake Erie Swimming governs 34 USA Swimming teams from 19 counties in Ohio. In May 2009, they recognized SwimStrongsville with the Club Development Award. Criteria for contributions include participation at meets, growth in club member registrations, hosting meets, assuming leadership roles in Lake Erie Swimming and participating in Lake Erie events like Swimposium and House of Delegates.
